| Preheat the grill to medium-high. Mix the egg with the onion, garlic, chili powder, oregano, cumin and ketchup. Crumble in beef and stir gently to combine. |

| Shape into 8 patties. Grill, brushing with barbecue sauce often (if using), for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until no longer pink in the centre. Top with cheese and cook for 45 to 60 seconds longer. Transfer to buns. Top with bacon and condiments. |
